Well, it's happened again. Portland trio Internal State has released another excellent single, paired with a great video for your viewing pleasure. Using pieced-together claymation scenes originally appearing on Pee-Wee's Playhouse, vocalist and guitarist Danny Moffat has created a playful visual accompaniment to the bands new song, "Penny". The song is yet another testament to Internal State's ability to successively embrace and then transcend pop structures, peppering the driving backbeat and consistent rhythm with spiraling, guitar-led escapements.
